Thank you for visiting the website of Veer Technologies, Inc. (the “Site”).

Veer provides employees with a personalized, cloud-based, user-directed experience for managing parental, medical, family care, personal, military and other forms of leave – from planning a leave of absence, to taking it, to returning to work.

This Veer Website Privacy Policy explains how we collect, secure, use and disclose your Personal Information. By using our website (“Site”), you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the practices in this Privacy Policy, do not use our Site.

“Personal Information” is information that uniquely identifies you or can identify you by combining it with other data. It includes your name and work and personal email addresses, mobile phone numbers, and other personal information associated with you. The legal name and definition of personal information differs from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

For employees and employers who use the Leave Solution, there is a separate “Veer Website Privacy Policy” that explains how Personal Information is collected, secured, used and shared within the Leave Solution.

Information We Collect from and about Visitors to our Site

From visitors to our Site, we collect Personal Information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, and phone number.

We also collect your Personal Information when you sign up with us for a mailing list or survey or request a Demo or otherwise contact us. You may also provide us with Personal Information when you contact us through our email address or social media pages.

When you visit our website, we do not collect your IP address or other Personal Information, unless you provide your email address to us on a form on our website.

We do not collect the Personal Information of children under the age of 13. If you learn that your child has accessed the Site and provided us with Personal Information without your consent, please e-mail us at security@getveer.com.

How We Protect Your Personal Information

We are serious about protecting the security of your Personal Information and have taken steps to protect your Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction, but no security measures are completely secure. We do not and cannot guarantee the security of your information. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We currently do not use cookies (small text files) on our website.

There are “do not track” or similar browser choices available to internet users with respect to online web activity, but given the present lack of consensus of what constitutes an informed election, appropriate trigger or breadth of scope of such choice, our Site will not operate any differently when a “do not track” signal is received.

Managing Your Personal Information

Privacy Rights of California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights with respect to your Personal Information including the following rights:

CCPA Disclosures. We do not collect any of the informational categories identified by California, such as Identifiers, Financial Information, Internet or online activity.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents who use our Site to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Washington Consumer Health Privacy Rights

The Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to “Consumer Health Data” as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act (“MHMD”). We do not intentionally gather any Consumer Health Data on our Website.

If we were to obtain any Consumer Health Data on our Website, MHMD provides certain rights with respect to Consumer Health Data, including the right to access, delete, or withdraw consent relating to your consumer health data, subject to certain exceptions. Privacy Disclosures to Residents of the European Economic Area

Retention

We retain personal data pursuant to our records retention program, for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in our Veer Website Privacy Policy unless a longer period is required under applicable law or is needed to resolve disputes or protect our legal rights, in accordance with Article 5(1) of the GDPR.

Storage and Processing of Personal Data

We store and process personal data of EEA residents in the EEA or other countries recognized as having adequate privacy standards by the European Data Protection Board.
